l Choose a sunny, well-ventilated spot on a sturdy tree or wall, away from high-traffic human areas.
Avoid low-lying or overly damp locations to ensure a dry environment for the bats.
l Secure the bat house using stainless steel screws or heavy-duty hooks.Ensure the front faces south or southeast, with a slight downward tilt (approx. 5°) to prevent rainwater from entering.
l Inspect the structure annually in late autumn and clear out any debris like old leaves or
spiderwebs.If bats don't move in immediately, be patient—it can take 1-2 seasons for them to
discover and adapt to their new home.
